Probate paralegal Krista Cram has been with Schroeder, Blankemeyer and Clinton since 2016, joining the firm after working with a probate and real estate attorney in Vermont. In addition to holding a B.A. in Political Science and Law and the Liberal Arts, Krista has an M.S. in Law.

Krista’s primary responsibility is to assist clients and their families with their probate administration matters with the firm. She is responsible for all document drafting and case management of estate documents and files. Krista is also in charge of coordinating probate estates between the attorney, executor, and courts so that all deadlines are timely met and all parties are kept informed. She also conducts legal research for the firm’s various practice areas, as well as helping out with administrative duties.

From responding to email inquiries, to answering phones and greeting clients when they come into the office, to performing intake meetings for new probate estates, Krista is often one of the first people clients encounter when they come into the firm. Her positive attitude and capable nature help the firm’s clients feel that they are in good hands when entrusting their legal needs to us.

Krista enjoys the diversity of her work, observing, “No two estates are exactly alike. The need to stretch my brain with research and analytics makes the job exciting.” She takes pride in using her legal research and drafting skills to make a stressful time easier for the firm’s clients.

When not working, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dogs. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, and reading.
