Attorney Anna Mae Blankemeyer has been an integral part of the firm since 1986. Originally a part-time associate, Anna Mae immediately demonstrated that she was a team player, diving into the firm’s real estate practice where she was most needed. Anna Mae’s role in the firm steadily grew, and she became a named partner in the practice in 2001. Her practice continues to be concentrated exclusively in the area of real estate. She has over 30 years’ experience handling real estate closings, and is known for her skill in resolving complicated real estate title issues.
Anna Mae’s work involves addressing the real estate and closing needs of real estate agents, lenders, and buyers and sellers of real estate in Northwest Ohio. Through her focus in this area, Anna Mae identified a growing need for escrow and title services, and co-founded SBS Title Agency, LLC. She is currently a licensed Title Insurance Agent with First American Title Insurance Company. In this capacity, she offers comprehensive closing services and title insurance products to the firm’s clients.
The area of work in which Anna Mae concentrates requires extraordinary attention to detail, which colleagues describe as one of her greatest strengths. Clients likewise appreciate her thoroughness, experience, and systematic approach to addressing their real estate and title matters.
A native of Leipsic, Ohio, Anna Mae has deep roots in the community and has served on a number of local non-profit boards, including the boards of the Putnam County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Putnam County Council on Aging, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Putnam County. She is also active in her church, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ottawa, Ohio. When not working or volunteering, Anna Mae enjoys spending time with her husband, their four adult children, and multiple grandchildren.
