Legal assistant Amy Stechschulte has been with the firm since 2014. In addition to overseeing the trust administrations and guardianships of the firm’s clients, she also serves as bookkeeper for the firm and the administrative assistant to the managing partner. Amy enjoys the opportunity to help clients when they call the office with a question, or when they come into the office for a meeting.
Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, which she put to good use after graduating from college, working first in inventory accounting at Marathon Petroleum, and then for a decade as a Senior Accountant at a CPA firm. Her experience in accounting and working closely with clients has made Amy an excellent asset to SBC. She enjoys the challenging nature of legal work, noting that every case and client is different. Amy’s precise accountings are a source of pride to her and a great benefit to the firm’s clients.
With a problem-solving background, Amy’s favorite part of her work at the firm involves interacting with clients, helping them to work through challenging situations and to achieve peace of mind. When not working, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and exercising.
